Straight bolts Our rustic slide bolts in classic black wrought iron have a simple design for a traditional look and are available in a range of sizes.

thank you for looking at our range of cottage straight slide bolts. The bolts in this section are what we call fishtail because of the black end detail.

All of these vintage bolts are hand made in the traditional manner by carefully selected artisan craftsmen. Our blacksmiths are chosen by us not only for their skill but for their passion for the objects they produce. All the items are hand forged on the anvil.

Once complete each bolt is either treated with a coating of natural beeswax or hot black oil. These bolts are designed to look old and authentic. The colours on the bolts will be from black to golden rust.

A full set of black slotted screws will be provided with each bolt for you to use.
