Old Gothic Hook Hand ForgedThis hand-forged  features a hand-forged arrowhead and a delicate curl at the business end. The  Gothic Hook 6-inch suit lightweight use such as for hanging jackets in the hallway or utensils in the kitchen.

Gothic Hook Hand Forged

 The  Gothic Hook Hand Forged fixing plate measures 6 cm x 7 cm wide, and the squared hook stem is nicely proportioned at a width of 0.9 cm. The hook measures 15 cm from the top of the arrowhead to the base of the hook and protrudes 5 cm from the wall or surface it is fixed to. The inner measurement of the hook is 3 cm.

Our wrought iron hooks are all hand-forged, so though similar will not be identical. Each piece is hand-finished and given a wax coating. All our hand forged products are carefully aged for an authentic look.

Fixing

As this Gothic Hook Hand Forged 6 inch is a surface mount hook it is fairly simple to fit. If you are fitting to a wall, please be aware of water pipes and electrical wires. These hooks may be fitted both internally and externally. If you choose to fit the hook outside, you will after a period of time notice surface rust. This is normal and will not affect the integrity of the hook. If you do not like this natural rusting you may choose to paint the item. If you wish to paint it, a good rub down with some wire wool will remove the rust and surface grime. A coat of good outdoor quality rust-proof paint, applied with a small paint brush will finish the job. The correct amount of fixing screws are supplied with all our products.
