Best DIY Rope Hanging Hook is our own design picture and mirror hanging hook. This hook is made to be seen and features our own hand cut nail fixing. We have many coloured ropes that you can hang from this fitting. There is a whole section for you to see and you will be able to choose from our bespoke hanging systems. We have spent a lot of time thinking about picture and mirror hanging with our ropes and we believe we have designed the simplest way to achieve this. You will only need four items to hang your project so if you have a hammer, a 6mm masonry drill bit, sticky tape and a sharp blade, you are all set. In our dedicated Best Picture Hook section, you will find some of our hanging ideas and all the fittings you will need for your project. This is a new category for us so we would welcome any pictures of your finished designs.
How to Fix Our Hook
In with your purchase, you will find the hook, a hand cut nail, a short screw (for fitting to wood) and a longer screw for fitting to a solid wall (instead of our nail) and a Rawl plug
If you intend to use our nail, please read these simple important instructions shown Below
Using the Rawl plug as a measure set some tape around your drill bit at the same length as the plug. Drill the hole using a 6mm drill bit to the tape mark you have made, insert the plug and now hammer home the nail and hook. The reason that it is important to follow this instruction is that as you are using a nail you do not want to hammer the Rawl plug into the hole any further.
IF YOU ARE FITTING TO WOOD YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL A 2.5mm HOLE.
