As the Cupboard Privacy Latch 3″ is surface mount it is fairly straightforward to fit. The main thing to look out for is the gap between the two fixing points. This is the space between the door and the frame. You will need to measure this before you think about your order. We are the only company that makes these privacy latches in a range of sizes. As you will be able to see if you look at our range of latches, they are available in different sizes. The size of the latch is defined by the length of the latch bar. The longer the bar the wider the gap it will be able to span. The bar can fit anywhere in the catch.
