Vintage Fleur de Lys Coat Hook
This vintage fleur de lys coat hook is part of our rustic black antique style old traditional cottage small hook range.
The double hook is perfect for coats or jackets in the hallway, dressing gowns in the bedroom, or tea towels in the kitchen. Traditionally cast in black iron by our artisan craftsmen in small foundries, this double hook has fixing holes predrilled to make fitting easy.
Fitting
As this hook is surface mounted, fitting is fairly straight forward. It can easily be fitted to a wooden surface. If, however, you would like to fit the hook onto a solid wall please be aware of hidden water pipes and electrical cables. We will include with every hook ordered a full set of fixing screws.
Size
The hook measures 10 cm from the top of the detailed fleur de lys trefoil base plate to the bottom of the hooks. The hook extends width wise to a maximum of 7 cm at their widest point and are 0.7 cm in diameter. Each of the two hook arms have 2.5 cm clearance from the base plate.
Our cast iron hooks are all hand forged so though similar will not be identical. Each piece is hand finished in matt black. All our hand forged products are carefully aged for an authentic look. Fixing screws are provided.
