Traditional rustic plain slide bolt with curled under handle detailing and predrilled base plate.  This authentic wrought iron privacy lock is 6 inches in length and cranked.  The cranked bolt shaft means that it is more forgiving when bolting doors and door frames that don’t quite line up.  An effective little bolt for adding a vintage feel to cupboards, toilet doors, etc.

The base plate measures 15.5cm by 5cm.  The bolt itself is 19cm long and the cranked end is 2cm deep and 2.5cm long.

Our wrought iron door bolts are all individually hand forged, so they are similar but not identical.  Each piece is hand finished and given a beeswax coating.  All our hand forged products are carefully aged. Once installed these products will look old and authentic.

You will notice in the picture there is an Allen Key. This is unique to us it enables you to put the bolt in any orientation. You adjust with the Allen Key to your desired position.
