We have called this hook our vintage dressing gown hook as it is a small hook that could easily be fitted to back of a door where space is limited, or indeed could be fitted lower down on the back of a door for a child to use. This is obviously only one of its uses.

Other uses

This simple 4 inch wrought iron hook with a bean end is suitable for use all around the home. such as hanging a t-towel or keys and mugs.  Smaller sizes of this hook are also available if you are after a lighter weight hook. The delicate curl at the end of the hook is a nice detail and matching fixing screws are provided.

Size

This is one of our smallest hooks and is very minimal in detail, but being hand-made in wrought iron it still has a great sense of character. It measures 4 cm from top to bottom and protrudes 3 cm from the wall. The body of the hook is 0.6 cm in diameter and the inner depth of the hook is 2cm, suitable for most mug handles, fire-place tools, dressing gown loops, etc. A fixing screw is provided.

Our black wrought iron coat hooks are all hand forged on the anvil and given a beeswax coating to produce the traditional black finish you would expect from a rustic wrought iron product.

As these hooks are hand-made they will be similar, but not identical.

As mentioned, these hooks will also make a great key hanging rack and you could mount them on the side of a cupboard or on a piece of wood to make your own unique key holder.
